Default Searching for Kawasaki Parts

I just got my bike back from the garage. The mechanic said it runs good but has a miss when twisting the throttle. I ran it and noticed it too. He said that it's probably the CDC or CDI Box. I own a 1986 1000R(A), I can't seem to locate anything about it in the manual. He said I could replace it myself with no problems. Does anyone know what the real name of this part is and possibly where I could find it for sale. If there is a parts dealer that supports this forum I'd like to you them first if possible.
THANKS.

Probably? A cover the mechanics *** or an unknown issue?

The part is called a CDI REV BOX. It costs 175.00 used from ******* Cycletronics, or 400.00 new. This is an electrical part so I'm not sure used is the best way to go. I do trust ******* they are pretty reputable.....
