06' ZX10R w/akropovic full exhaust, ivans retard that's it...bought bike this way

@ 200+ temp bike will not go over 2-3k RPM & or shut off??????


1. was told need power commander or
2. take the ivan retard off

and what is the status right now USAF?

 

Did you adjust your throttle positioning sensor?

 

that retard is crating too much resistance and it is putting a load on the engine and it is causing it to warm up. and that could contribute to the power loss also. try taking it off and see what that does. all the power commander is gunna do is map out your fuel and alow you to do that. that is just a thought. hope i could be helpful.
