dam! hate asking but how did they mess it up? I would not think it too hard to replace but since they admitted guilt, let them do it. Question: what about the Odometer reading and DMV?

WhenI took my bike in to get servicedI guess they accidentally got some oil on it. I have no ****ing clue how that happened. Anyways, when the dumb *** guy tried to clean the oil off he used some de-greaser spray and it ate through the plastic. I meanI know accidents happen soI wasnt too pissed about because they got me the part for free and said they would put it on.But getting my part has been a ****ing hassel and its way across town andI work and go to school full time soI have no time to leave my bike there when its convienent for them. SoI told themto send me the parts andI will do itmyself. With regards to the odometer im really not sure how that works but I'm assuming theDMV can put the real milage on my title or something like that.

Briefly looking through my manual, the swap looks easy enough.
