Default Fuel Pump Question

So i have a 2005 ZX-10 and i noticed the fuel pump sounds a little different when i stop at a red light or something like that. Its not a constant sound it like fluctuates. Any one know whats up? Maybe its nothing but it might not be anything

Like you can actually hear the fuel pump? I can't hear mine with a helmet on unless its before I start it. Do you run it low on fuel a lot? Mine used to be hella noisy before starting but after kawasaki serviced it it sounds fine. I was lucky when I got this zx10. According to the dealer the whole motor had been rebuilt. The guy who sold it to me said that but you can't always trust the seller. Try adjusting your idle screw on the side. Im new to these bikes so correct me if im wrong. Minr has a little tube by the front sprocket cover with a **** that can adjust idle. It keep it at 1500. I noticed when it idles higher the knotches on the cluster are darker so I suppose that's a good range to idle at. Maybe a little lower. Like I said im new to these bikes I had a gsxr 600 and this thing outs that gsxrs dick in the dirt. Its faaaasst. Burns the rear tire if I try to get on the throttle too much. New tire too. Got it when I got the bike about 2 weeks agom its my daily rider.

Welcome to KF

I would be checking the fuel pressure from the pump. The pumps are not bullet proof, also check the screen and filter. Is there a possibility of some bad gas?
