Hello all,

I just upgraded from a 98 R1 to an 04 ZX10R and one thing i can't stand about the ZX10R is the tach/speedo cluster, the 06 is a bit nicer.....anyone know if an06 speedo cluster will fit the 04? Also, what about the 06 steering damper, any chance it would fit?

The 06 cluster will fit in the 04 and 05 10rs with some modifications.

Yes, congrats. I just left an '03 ZX7R for my '07 ZX10R.

If the '06 will fit on the '04, then I would find an '07 to use instead. The number one complaint that I hear has been corrected is the brightness of the cluster. The '07 will just about put a glare on my visor it is so bright!

 

wow, my understanding is that the 06 and 07 were the same minus some color changes in bodywork.

 

Congrats on the 10r... great bike. I love the 04-05, but they all are great bikes.

Exactly, I use the brightest position for my likes.
