ORIGINAL: NYC ZX6

I forgot to mention that its got a windscreen. Not sure what brand it is but its all black. It LOOKs good but i dont like it because i cant see out of it. Its a solid color.

And like i said, I cant find a cowl for this bike that doesnt have stupid vents in it.

Damper is next on my list but those SOB's are $$. Santa is coming soon> I think ivebeen a good boy this year. lol

+1 if you cannot see thru the screen.
But my SOB(steering dampener that is) is doing good so far. On factory set points. Check the head stem nut tq. Stories have it that they work loose.

Can't help ya with the immobilizer, but go here to learn about setting your suspension right.

Get 2 buddy's to help you. One to hold the bike and one to measure.

Thanks for the help and kind words guys.

So I called up my dealer today asking about the part theyre waiting on. WHen I bought the bike, the turn signal switch was bad so they ordered me a new one and the holidays have been delaying the process, but ive been catching up on my using my head to look for cars and other objects behind me when shifting lanes. I also asked them about the immobilizer in the key and they said that there isnt one here in the US spec models for my year and model. I have to go to the dealer, pick up a Blank key and take it to any locksmith to get cut.

I made a fender eliminator at work today while it was slow. I'll take pics tomorrow of my bike and post them up.

Question BTW..... Micron Slip ons...are they any good? My bike has one and It doesnt sound bad but I feel I could use a nicer one. I'd really llike to spend the money on a Full Akroprovic system which I've heard on a 636 and it sounds amazing. I want to eventually go for the all black look on my bike. I'm not a fan of Bling so a nice CF exhaust would look good IMHO on my ride.

Ride Safe people!

I would play with the Ti setup personnally if doing dynos and want longevity. Although it sounds like I was wrong in the key thing. (now where was that damm thread on the 04,)
