Dragone- no the bike came with the yosh pipes...the bike has 2921 original miles...it did go down in a slow speed crash so there is a couple scratches but other than that she is pratically brand new.

Hoedogg- I have only taken it out twice The fastest I have gone is 11.33 at 137 MPH with no gearing...but on Monday we stretched it, lowered it, strapped it, and geared it up 3 in the back. So hopefully I will be able to get a 10 tonight.

I am thinking about removing the secondary butterflies because the 10 bogs like crazy on the launch right now,I have tried launching at 4K, 6K, 8k and 8.5K...and I was worried this thing would be a wheelie machine off the line, nope. Although it does wheelie when I shift into 2nd

I know my time does not look that great but it feels a little different than my 7 when launching so I am taking my time with the launch on the 10R.

She is fast though and I took 3rd place with that dial-in in my last NHRA ET race so not to shabby.

hmm, not sure on what to say. My 06 does not lug off of the line. At a buck 40 while in the band, the front gets light or the rear breaks traction. Every ride is different, why the explaination. Trying to picture the 2ndary removal

edit: that is with my secondary flies in place. I am all ears on your endeavors

hi dragone well since I last posted I raced the 10 and made a 10.79 pass at 137 mph. to get this I left at 9k and this time the bike stretched and geared up 3 in the rear. Also I was coached to let the clutch slip more because before I was snapping it out.

even when my husband left at 9500 he said the motor pulled itself down to about 4k. So we started talking to other zx10 owners/drag racers and they are recommending the removal of the secondary butterflies to eliminate the bog.

a successful run normally has a great 60' and with this bog we are considering a few options right now including more gear and/or removing the secondary butterflies of course we are discussing these options with multiple people.

Some good reads on the 10r here. http://www.zx-10r.net/

Good luck. I plan on keeping my secondaries in place for my application so far.
