I just read the write up in Cycle World:

That's a helluva lot of writing to say "it's the same bike as previous year with slight body style changes, and traction control". But I guess these writers get paid to make us excited.
It seems to me the last time Kawi madeany significant improvements vs. the competition was 2006.And yes, the traction control for '08 is certainly a plus, but really doesn't change the bike underneath.
So for someone like me, who is looking at value first, which means used bikes as much as new ones, I would pretty much consider any zx10r since 2006 as the same bike. In other words, forget what year it is (2006+), and just look at the price tag.
