I to didnt like the 06-07 look, and now that I need a knew bike... when the time is right... I might opt for the 08 10r. there for a second I was going to lean towards a different brand due to kawasaki's form of taming the 10r.

taming the 10r.
???? I have not taken her to the track yet, but I wouldn't call the 06 or 07 tame.

I need more pics and performance numbers on the 08 in order to fully make up my mind if I like the redesign. Looks too Suzukish.... I don't know.

Ihave to admint I like the underseat exhaust, never have to worry about getting too close to it and I dont feel ne of the exhaust heat near my legs. Another reason why I like it its if u take ne passengers on ur bike which I know I do they tend to be better of with the exhaust not near there legs. I do like the way the fairing looks on the 08, but I like my 07 better

Plus... if i understand correctly, it's best to have the mass of the bike centralized and balanced. The underseat exhaust on the 06-07 enables the weight to be closer to the bike, in place of sticking out to the side of the bike. Plus, if they return to the single side can that will throw the balance of the bike off, unless they counterbalance that somewhere else on the other side with something else. Basic physics... or I'm just talking outta my underseat rear exhaust.

Sorry Drag... I should have elaborated just a bit. I just didnt like the look for my taste, not saying it is an ugly bike.... When I look at them "the bikes" certin characteristics give of a feeling and make that person looking at it think... When I saw the 06-07 it looked refined like the rough edges where smoothed out, I love the sharkish raw look of the 04-05 and now by the looks of it the 08 goes back to a radically demeaning look.

It does have a full fairing asz, the mounting area for the fairing next to your knee is painted black and blends in.

I know what you mean on the radical edges. I too was concerned with the *** end looks of the 06-07 with the stock exhaust and all. Now that I have the beet system in place, it really cleaned the looks of it. I am curious to see info if kawi lightened up the flywheel again when they opted for the oval intake and the dual injectors.
