Default Rear Taillight

Anyone have the Clear Alternatives Integrated Rear Taillight installed or know much about this? I've got to get this ugly flap off the back of mine and I know they make quite a few tail kits but I am really interested in the integrated rear. Any thoughts??

I have one of the CA tail lights. For a while I used it as the brake light, and turn signals, but I just recently got the new undertail so now I use the undertails turn signals. Just remember if you do go with the CA tail light, you will still needa fender eliminator to get ride of the hunk of plastic that the license plate is currently on.

Yeah I was just going to go with a license bracket. Love the seat cowl by the way, and also, what kind of handle bars have you got on? I really want some different ones that are lower for the sportier ride.

Disregard that on the handlebars. I see now that they are clip-on's.

Check out www.suburban-machinery.com. They make an awesome set of stainless steel bars for the 650R that zig zag forward achieving practically the same position as clip-ons without all the hassle. You can get zero rise clip-ons that are about an inch lower than the SM bars, but you'll have to modify your gauge brackets to sink them in about 3/4"in order forthem to not interfere. Clip-on's with about 1.25" of rise built into them will clear the gauges, but will be at just about the same height as the SM bars. The advantage of those over the SM barsis you can rotate them on the fork tubes to the exact position that's most comortable for you. Clip-ons require dropping the forks to attach them to...which lowers the front end...which should also include replacing the rear shock with a loweredunit to balance out the geometry and weight.

Good luck[8D]
