Default Lower Handlebars

I'm just wondering I have the 07 650R and is there a way to lower the handlebars to get a more sport bike riding position?

I have Suburban Machinery bars on my bike, they bolt into the stock mounts but give you a clip on feel. They are alittle pricey at $160, but well worth it. I got mine from Blue Ridge Performance.

I would suggest the SM bar.. I have a set of clip-ons, but if you are not willing to send the money to lower the complete bike it is actually not the safest thing to do.

Check out www.ninja650shop.com and look towards the bottom of the page when you get to the site and you will see
"Coerce Competition Low Handlebars." They mount into the stock handlebar mounts. And they are only $70 bucks! I am looking at getting them for my bike.

I highly recommend the Suburban Machinery bars. They have a nice tubular stainless steel finish that compliments the frame and clean lines of the 650R. They zig-zag forward giving them an angled position just like clip-on's and can be rotated in the mount to get an even more clip-on feel. They really utilize every square inch possible without actually hitting the gauges or fairing to open the cockpit asmuch aspossible. Oh yeah, and they are pre-drilled to accept the factory bar-ends and controls.

I think you can only get them directly from S.M.
