How easy is it to adjust the play in the throttle?
just notice that the play is getting worse with the more miles i put on it.

Had a repair place adjust for me when I got the first services on the bike done..but now its getting back to alot of play.

There is a section in your owners manual that can explain and show you how to adjust it if you feel comfortable doing it. It is quite easy to do and on page 97 of your manual you can find the instructions that I used to do the same thing on my own bike.

 

2 minute job. Loosen the disc shaped locknut where the cable goes into the twistgrip. Unscrew the barrel adjuster until the free play is correct - about 1-2mm. Retighten the locknut. No tools required.
