Girlfriend is doing fine on my 650r. No problems yet. They are a parallel twin, not a v-twin. It is plenty quick and tons of fun. She can flat foot it easy. Overall it is a great bike. I perfer it to my zx6r for everything buy track time.

I have a 07 650r also and I am only 5'5" tall, and I can touch the ground with the ***** of my feet. I find the bike is balanced well and that helps when I come to a stop and have to walk the bike when sitting on it.

www.davequinnmotorcycles.com sells the Hagon lowering shock for the 650R. It's way cheaper than the Penske at $450. Get the woman in your life one today!
Ha ha, man that was cheesy. After you pop that sucker in, all you have to do is loosen the front fork clamps and slide them up a couple inches and BAM! You've got a lowered 650R. To drop the front you loosen one fork, drop it a little, tighten it back up, then loosen the other fork...ect., ect. like "walking" the forks slowly into position. Keep the clamps kinda tight so the forks move slowly.
