i recently pulled off my headlamp on a 2005 500r. instead of unplugging it as i should have. i twisted it and removed the outer casing. Now im trying to put the bulb back in, but there's a clip a figure out how to install? does anyone have some good instructions or pic's of how this clip is suppose to work?

hahaha, you have a pic of that said clip that you are referring too? I take it that you have not received your service manual either. postal issue again. Welcome to KF, give me abit to look at my manual. Did you catch the pun???? lol

that clip? is it the band leg that goes into the frame? or of the molex connector itself? possibly a 3 pin connector that is that may have worked loose when you were unwinding the protective cover?
