Not uncommon. With the bike not running, shift into 3rd gear. Pull in the clutch lever and push the bike forward until you feel the clutch plates let go. The bike should be rolling without the motor turning over. Then you should be good to go.

You're welcome.

What did you take apart and grease?

Did it bang into gear leap a bit, then stall? If so, yes your clutch plates are stuck and nee to be worked as said to break them loose. My brother's trials bike used to do that, but it was so light it was hard to break them loose. He had to get it started, push off, snick it in gear and ride until it got warm enough for the plates to break loose. The oil glues them together.

If it did not bang and leap you have a screwed up side stand switch or clutch disengagement switch that is causing it to think the bike is in gear or the side stand is down.
