hi everyone, here are some pics of my latest mods on my project, my seat i am happy to say was turned in to the upholstry shop today, i plan to have the rear half redone in lime green to match the bike color to give it the solo look from afar. i finally got my rear pegs in so i was able to match the front. boy was i happy about that. and i kinda didn't like the way the exhaust pipes were so short so i had them extended with a little touch of, yup, you guessed it, that lovely green.... I am still waiting for [IMG]my mid panels, tank bra, and the new green and black grips to come in. i hope to get rid of the fender and modify an undertail since [/IMG] these are not on the market for these bikes. and then add flush mount signals and move my lic plate to my swingarm. well it keeps me busy when i'm not at work. and it's so much fun. i think the challenging part is that there is not much aftermarket parts for the 500r so it's been fun trying to come up with some kind of new idea, that you can fabricate in your basement. hee hee hee, maybe one day manufacturers will realize that some of us do want to keep our bikes and not just use it as a tool. well so much for my yapping, i hope you like it.

 

Those exhaust tips are bada$$! One of the sweetest looking 500's I've ever seen.
