I am confused by the fact that the fiche shows 2 different sets of
controls for an 88? The pic shows 3 controls 1 is A 1 is B and 1 is AB?
Can't figure out which ones would be for my bike.I have an 88 with
solid
bars and no bar ends.I am trying to figure what bars will fit from othe
year 500's AND from the Ninja 250? As the 250 bars with bar ends seem
more available,even with controls.

 

Your question is unclear. Are you confused because there is more than one bar configuration for your 500, or because you want to put 250 bars on your 500?
The difference between the two types of 500 bars is probably (but not certainly) the Euro-spec version of the 500 has hazard-lights and other requirements that are not available on the US version
But I don't see how this would affect the fitment of 250 bars on your 500.

i think any year 500 bar will fit, as long as you dont mix and match.
