Hey everyone. this is my first post. I just got a silver 2007 Ninja 500 brand new. this is my first bike. i would like to know if stalling the bike does anything to the engine? i stall it now and then when im practicing. on start up. Thanks

i'm not sure...it makes sense it would do some damage but nothing major. you should post this in the general tech too because not everyone has a 500 but everyone stalls

Stalling does not damage to the engine. It's a little hard on tires, chains, but nothing major.
Don't think about it, just concentrate on learning.

Stunters go to great lengths to abuse their engines (and clutches, tires, chains, brakes and fairings) and they have proved (shamefully) that these machines can endure a LOT of mistreatment before anything bad happens.
