Just bought a 1988 500 with 3,760and have not had a chance to ride it yet do to rain and body repair.(love JBweld)
Need a shop manual and an air box for it.
Also bought a 2004 Ninja 250R 2 months ago with 793 miles on it.From looking at RA microfiche it looks like 1987 to 1993 EX500's have the same parts then changes for 1994? Is that right?I not, can I use the adjustable levers from the later models? Thanks Rip

Not sure on the 500, but I can use older '87 and '88 zx7 levers for the '90 zx7. So I am thinking that you would be able to use the levers that you mentioned.
