I have put about 300 miles on my Ninja and every time i ride it my left wrist hurts, its like a stabbing pain in the outside to the center of the wrist. is this normal for someone just starting out riding? or is it something that i need to be concerned about?

Tendonitis maybe? Not sure on that one. My wrists were fine after the MSF course (three staight days on a bike). I really don't know if that is common or not, you might want to get it checked out.

try not to pull the clutch with all of your fingers and loosen up on the handlebar a little bit you dont have to hold it tight just rest your palms on it and use your middle and index finger to pull the clutch in. that should work it not..............get checked out man!!!!!!!!!

So I've been gone for a while but I am back now. I now have 1100 miles on my ninja. I have finnaly taken me MSF Class and an waiting to get my license in the mail. I go ridding almost every Sunda. I have learned to overcome some surve fears and how to better manhanddle my bike. I live for ridding. Do you ever go through the week and not have time to ride? By the time the weekend comes around you feen for it so much. Thats how I've been I go 2 or 3 days and I have to take her out for a drive. The only thing is I wwas looking around for some aftermarket parts and it seems to be hard to find parts that wil fit my 500. If any one knows a user friendly web site for Kawasaki ninja 500 2005 please let me know.

Have fun and drive safe.

This site http://www.ex500riders.com is awesome for finding stuff with regards to the 500. Also it appears that you can get frame sliders for the 500 (I put a post in the 500R section concerning that, there is a link there too).

WOW, 1100 miles! I'm not even close to that . We've had a lot of rainy days here lately, hopefully that'll turn around though!
