but hopefully during the winter i plan on doing the whole jet kit deal and maybe some other stuff. i haven't got around to getting this done (had my bike since april or may) so i'm sure it didn't help the bike, but this is my ode to jet kits, etc. if anyone has done this to their bike/advice/help/tips would be appreciated.

Glad to see you back!! Hope you've been having fun with the bike! Can't offer you any advice, but I'm sure someone can! The only plans for my bike this winter is doing a valve adjustment (hopefully it won't be too hard!)

i'd like to do a lot of stuff to it because it's not looking that good right now. i'd like to do the windscreen, and i'd like to get the plastics fixed up/painted. and i'd like to do something with the turn signals/led's.

Soon enough she'll be as pretty looking (maybe more) than the day you got it!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya, hope you find a spot to work on it!

Here's a link to a team that races ex500's.....there's a small blurb on their dyno testing with different jets. You might email them for more info.
