Default anyone do the carb twin KN air filters?

Hey guys just tore my bike('90) down and I've been eyeing those twin K&N filters to replace the box..... It looks like I'd need a small filter for the flat vent can under the airbox and also one for what looks like a EGR off a carand another for what I'm guessing isa breather because one tube comes from each head

anyways was thinkin the mod looked cool... it's either that or I'll mod the box... what have you guys done?

Default RE: anyone do the carb twin KN air filters?

i got emgo ones.

went to a 135 jet and a .20 shim for the needles, adjusted the idle screws and its good to go. takes some time to do though.

the other thing though, is what to do with your battery? mine is sealed, and i really wanted to tuck it up under the seat, but its too big

i was thiking about getting one from a GSXR or something. the battery for my dudes GSXR750 is about half the size of mine.

i used some aluminum sheeting and fabbed up a little mount for the battery.

it will make it louder too.

but if your **** isnt stripped like mine is, id probably just keep the airbox and do the FOG airbox mod.

no more than a 1" hole.
