That'd be funny! I really do like the titanium color - hmm, maybe instead of the 650R, I'll look into a new 500R....something to think about!

I'd wait and see if they release the 650R in titanium, that would be really nice. Although the titanium 636 is looking pretty sweet too. I really like my 500 but...Sometimes those shiny new 6R's on the showroom sing a siren song that's hard to resist. I think the only reason I haven't upgraded yet is that I'm pretty sure if a new lime green 6r appeared in the garage where the 500 used to be the wife would skin me alive and feed me to the cats.

My main thing right now, is if I go with a bigger bike - I have to retest to upgrade my license, not a big deal or anything but........I really do like the 500's. It'll be a while yet - I wanna be able to show all the morons out there that think that just because they have a bigger bike, they can ride better!! It'd be fun to blow by a few of them, and then have them realize they just got showed up by a chick on a 500!!!

I think the USA should have incremental licensing for Motorcycles, it might keep more of those 18yo Marines who run out and buy a liter bike as their very first MC. Those guys usually end up as a red smear on the freeway. Sad but true...(great new metallica song stuck in my head).

I think the biggest appeal of the 6r for me is really just the more aggresive styling. Other than than I love my 500. It does everything. I've had loaded saddlebags on it all week becuase I've had to carry extra stuff on my commute and it handles the extra weight without issue. It is stable, quick enough to get me where I'm going and light enough to corner like madman. (i've got little half inch chicken strips on my new 140 tire. I would like to get into some really twisty stuff and see if I can get rid of them...). I really don't have a good reason to upgrade yet, especially considering that I can ride this bike at 80%-90% of it's capability on a daily basis.
