Default Weekend fun trip in the Blue Ridge Mtns.

Just a couple of pics of what I was doing while my buddies were at work. Poor guys!

The seat worked great too. With the stock seat I could barely get an hour in before I was miserable and ready to stop. Today was 7 hours with just a lunch break and quick gas stop. It was worth every penny to me!

I feel the same way about the factory seat. No more than an hour before stops.

Is the stock seat really that bad? It can't be worse than the 2x4 on the KLX can it? Every time I look at the 07 and previous Ninja's I can't help but think it looks like there is a helluva lot more cushion on there than the little grean machine.

Never been on a KLX, but if you peel back the leather you'd see only about 1 inch of very hard foam for the driver. Which is why alot of people re-do the seat and put some memory foam in it, or just buy an aftermarket one (mine's from Corbin) ready to ride MUCH more comfortably. I suppose if I had more natural padding instead of a bony *** it would help too!

+1

It's about as comfortable as sitting on a bicycle without a seat.

Looks like you had the ride I've been fantasizing about since I got here.
