Default Wait times for ordering...

Does anybody have any insight in the wait time for an 08? Ill be in Bellingham WAin early December (where i will be moving to in a few months) and i was thinking that if the wait time is kinda long i was just gonna swing by a dealer and order one. That way when i get up there the bike will be there and what not. Good idea, bad idea? Thanks for any input

doesn't sound like a bad idea, you can shop them while your up there, probably wouldn't expect much discount on an 08 anyway, see if they'll work you a deal!

The 3 Dealerships I checked with told me about early to mid January. The dealership closest to my house told me they would put me on the waiting list for $100 and they wouldn't mind taking payment over the phone. Sounded like a good idea, but I'm impatient, so I found one on the few remaining '07s and bought that one.

Welcome to the KF family. Just make sure you get some electric riding gear so you can ride it year round, whenever there isn't a ton of snow.
