Default Todays Festivities

To start off a bunch of us guys ride to work and usually go riding together when we can. Only a few of us have there license and I am not one of those that do. My friends dad had painted the test for the course at our local park. So I took the guys down there after work since they had never seen it before. When it came time to leave they were trying to get me to do wheelies. Well this kid has an 05 gixxer 600 he just bought a few months back decides to do a wheelie. Well it went bad and he carried to far and wrecked. The bike is perty rashed up but his is ok and in good spirits. He had a helmet and jacket on so it helped out even though he landed in grass.Pics will be up later

I am too cheap to endanger my ride by popping wheelies whenever somebody wants me to. (Yes, I have done them before on the 250, but she really does not like it!) If you're gonna do wheelies, at least find a cheap bike to practice on first. I almost guarantee that cheap bike will cost less to buy than fixing your nice ride after a wreck.

Thee good then is he paid for the bike.. We work at the same place and they pay their machine operators perty well. The sad thing is it will cost him about 1600 in parts to fix it. We tried talking him into making it a streetfighter for the time being. I think he learned his lesson, not to wheelie in parking lots. I figured I would post to let everyone else see what happens when you show off and not know the full power.
