Default People Who have 250's

This may sound akward to many....

I had a terrible dream (lol) that my 250 was hardly keeping up with traffic, and for some reson it had petals like a bicycle.

So, my question ( 5"9 110lbs.) will it keep me up with traffic?
I plan to get one in May, but my brother keeps teasing me, (he think's it's a scooter).

So my fellow 250'ers, will it be able to give me power I need to keep up.

-Also looking for heated seats/clothing for winter time. If anyone knows any. Also looking for nice helmets for a good price .

Tyvm

And please don't tell me to take my medication! o_O

Oh you'll be fine i'm only5'2, 105/110 lbs and i can beat most cars off the line, you'll have plenty of get up and go! tell ur bro to go ride a scooter and then to ride ur bike and then he'll shut the hell up lol :P, what area do you live in, cuz my friends store sells almost anything you could think of, its geared towards women but she can order anything thatany ofthe other stores wouldhave, she's got apparel, parts and accessories. She's located in sac, or you can order off her website, tell her Julie sent u if you do decide to buy something, either way you can check out the site www.gomotoriders.com. Good Luck!

power to weight ratio with you on it is about 9.6:1 (pounds per hp)
basicly the same as a 3000lb car with 300hp

however it has less torque so it won't pull the same but you get the idea.

also - you are more likely to get a good price during the winter when nobody wants to ride.

They're not the fastest of bikes, but most people driving four wheel transportation vehicles will never be able to keep up with the 250. Don't let it'sdisplacement fool you.
