Default Ninja 250 valves

Do the Ninja 250's need valve adjustments?I'm thinking about buying one (or a Ninja 500) but if it needs frequent valve adjustments like my KLR250 does I think I'll have to pass.

Yes, they do. Every 6,000 miles.

Anyone that wants to keep from buring them. Usually they go tight which leans the bike out so much that whatever you do you cant get it to idle.
I wouldnt wait that long though.
Some need it around 3K, and you should have hadthem done at the first 500 mile service.

It does suck, at least theyre locknut and you dont have to buy a bunch of shims. My Katana is at 9K intervals.

I set mine within 1500 miles, then go from there. I do not have a 500 but that seems to work well on the inline 4's.

Does anyone know of a DIY for the valve adjustment?
