Default My '06 250R Is Getting A Makeover!

I decided recently I need to update the appearance of the 250R, so I ordered some factory painted direct fit flush mount turn signals for the front, I also ordered the three piece clear tail light lens set. I will also install sockets and bulbs into the empty holes of the left and right tail light housing so I can use them for my new turn signals. That brings me to point out that I just took off the dark grey plastic mud guard on the rear. That piece also held the rear turn signals and license plate, so I had to fabricate my own license plate bracket which I just did an hour ago.

I will post pics up later as the my parts arrive.

Ya bro I know it was my flushmounts that made you jealous enough to get yer own! :P

Did you cut your fender or just take it off completely?

I'm gonna cut mine and leave tabs for the plate so i dont have to get a new mount, and integrate the signals in the side pods with one of those kits from clearer alternatives.

Def. post pics man although I'll get to see anyway next time we go ridin

Hey Jesse, long time no see. where have you been hiding?

I took off the fender completely and there will be no external rear signals. I think it will look much better that way.

BTW: Right after I turned off to go home that day we went riding, this jackass in a black grand am decided he wanted to turn into a parking lot on the left side of the street, only he was in the right lane while I was riding by him! He turned right in front of me and I literally came about a foot away from his driver side door before I stopped.[:@] The bastard just looked at me like I was in his way or something! That was the closest I ever came to hitting a car. I was pissed!

We need to go on at least one more ride sometime before it gets too cold out.

Here is a pic with the mudflap removed. Hopefully my clear tail lenses will be here soon!

I got my tail lights today.

Now when I said clear lenses, they are actually smoked. But when looking at the picture online, it pretty much looked clear to me. (just slightly darker than the clear CLEAR lens kit.) This is what it looked like online:

I will post pics up in a while to show you guys what it actually looks like. Much darker than the picture shows. At first I didn't think I would like it much, but after putting them on I have to say that they have grown on me.

I still need to get my LED bulbs, but one nice thing about this lens kit is that the turn signal sockets are included too!
