Default Jacking up the Back

I was told there is a spacer kit or something that i could purchase to jack the rear of the bike up a bit. Is this true? Also are there any disadvantages/ advantages in doing this to a 250?

I havent seen this yet, but I am new to bikes and would like to know what the advantage would be to jack the rear up.

there is no advantage jacking up the back of the bike. your only going to throw off the geometery and handling of the bike.

thank you thats what i wantted to know... I just was questioning it because ive seen some bikes... like the Aprilias that have a really high center of Gravity when looking at the Rear Tail and how high it was from the wheel

Well I'd say there would be a difference in "jacking up" the rear end and raising it several mm. Raising it would make it turn in faster if you were pretty set on hitting a track day or some tight twisties. Advantage would be a slight increase in ground clearance and turn in. I do it with my other bikes, as for the 250, I don't know of a way to do it.
