yesterday was the first time I got the RPM's way up to the red line. And would you know it, they put a rev limiter on it! I didn't think Kawasaki would bother puting one on their cheapest model. It's cool they did though. I was curious if older 250's had limiters on them, so I checked out 250 riders club, and found that the rev limiter on 250's were introduced in 2005.

 

Yes, I have found the limiter too. It happens whenever I have to get past some goofy on the road when in first gear and it is very low on gas. Goes like a bat outta he!! when dry too. An interesting experience!

 

ha ha thats sweet, for the 250 bein such a "lawn mower", it sure does get moving when u start taking it past 9 grand
