It seems as though it is a secret handshake or something. Ever since I was a young boy I was puzzled as to how bikers wave to each other. I was hoping to post this to appeal to a larger crowd, but everyone in here is just so informative and nice. Dodging the long rambling, could anyone explain in detail how to wave, and to whom? I know you try to wave to everyone (just as my dad taught me), but some people wave with the wrist, while others stick their hand down.

okay. i just finished reading a few short stories at redztreads.com and it answered almost all of it. so most people in here would probally do the hand down peace sign?

That wave video is awesome... Wave however is natural to you... it will probably end up being hand down and only two fingers fully extended.. that's how mine ends up, not trying to do a peace sign or anything that just seems to be how it ends up coming out lol

 

yea i just lift a few fingers off the clutch lever, just seemed natural to me.

 

you guys are too cool for school. where is the excitement---don't you love riding! Doesn't it put a big *** grin on your face! I am smiling just thinking about riding.

Oh yeah and I wave at everyone on a motorcycle/scooter especially the kids they love it too.
