Hey all!

I'm new to the forums and don't have a bike yet but I'm taking the MCSC in September and can't wait to get a 250!

I was reading through the NC DMV Motorcycle Handbook. It was talking about basic equipment necessary for road operation. It mentioned a horn. Does the 250 have a horn? I've not heard any mention of one in all my researching.

It has one, but it's embarassing to use. It sounds like what you'd expect the horn on a clown car to sound like. I replaced mine last weekend with a Fiamm AM-80 low-tone trumpet. Now I sound like a Mazda 3. :-)

 

and also i realy dont think you could hear a 250s horn inside a car with the music up. I usually just take evasive action and or flip my highbeams at people.
