Can someone pls explain the major difference between the 250 and 500 body styles? If you have a 250 and put 500cc stickers on it can the ordinary individual tell that it’s not a 500?


also can this bike beat up on most cars and trucks on the roads ?

 

It is not possible to confuse a 500 with a 250..... changing stickers, uh, no.... The 500 should at least keep up, and maybe outrun the average vehicle, the 250 probably not. the 250 is a good bike, and you can keep up with traffic. But it is not designed to be a road racer.. here is a pic of each one..

The 250 is actually sportier looking than the 500. There is no way you could switch stickers, anyone that has seen these bikes will know the difference.

 

I went to the place I bought my 250 from. The owner had a 500 sitting in the garage. Even from a distance, I immediately knew it was a different bike. It was sweet.. black w/ red stickers.

I think it was a '91 and get this.. it had 1,500 original miles on it..never been down. Original owner never rode it and kept it in the garage for 15 years! I made a half-*** offer for it but he wasn't gonna give it up.

Why would you try to fake the funk with 500 decals? Eventually, you're gonna get exposed.

Hey! I like to consider myself an "ordinary individual". It's all good.. I'm not trying to be a jacka$$.

Seriously, I doubt that you're average non-rider would know the difference between a 250 & a Gixxer..lol
