Goldwing huh? Very nice (expensive) bike. I always thought it would be great to have a goldwing, or something similar for long trips. The 250 really kills my butt after an hour.[>:]

My son and grandson installed it for me. I did install the one on the 1250S but it uses the electronic sensor whereas the 250 uses the mechanical sensor for it has a mechanical speedometer. It is not so much hard as it is time consuming but that is only because I am old and slow.

You have to drill and tap a hole in the swing arm for the dispensor, which is the hardest part and that is simple. if I can do it a 5 year old child can do it and believe me it is worth it. It pays for itself.

The pro oiler seems like a good idea. It's nice to see their website has galleries to show different bikes with the oiler installed. How much was it?

It is $236.00 with shipping, now that sounds like a lot but my son and his friend bought thier ZX14's togather so they could get a discount and Phil has used over $300.00 in sprockets and Xchains. he is now buying one himself.

I am going to take my seat off and take an electric carving knife and cut my seat foam and put high density memory foam in. It costs very little and certainally helps the rear end.

I am also still working on getting more vacume so I can have crusise control.

I like the ingenuity you put into your projects. We'll have to get some pictures once you're all done.

Thank you sir.
I will try and post some as soon as I can. My son should be back next week with the camera.

I am still trying to meet some 250 riders in the NE Georgia area, hopefully I will be able to meet some soon.

Was it the 1973 2 strokes that led up to vacuum oiling? I could be off, but in that era. Personnally, I am a hands on guy, so removing, cleaning and oiling is no big deal. Dang, where did I see the Pro Oiler at?

Yea, I'm a hands on guy myself, butsince I'll be doing 500+ miles a week, the pro oiler would be cheap insurance.

I used to be but when I got older, I got lazy or shaky about doing certain things so I let my son and grandson do it for me. My grandson is now going to Iraq and my son is be transferred to Florida (job not military).

Another thing to consider is that unless you are cleaning it and oiling it daily, you are still going to wear out more chains and sprockets than you would if you used the pro oiler
