Default 250 1st gear question

hello, im taking a msf course and the bikes were using are 125s, and we can get the bikes moving with releasing the clutch slowly and not use any throttle at all.. my question is can the ninja 250 do the same? does the idle have to be raised to do this?

Yes, it will.

Generally, the larger the engine displacement, the more low-end torque the engine has to move the bike forward without opening the throttle.

If the idle on the 250 is set correctly you will have to apply some throttle, the idleshould be between 1200-1500 rpms. The 125 has a different carb set up and may be running richer.
