What bike can you get for $6,500?

05 Yamaha R6 Raven, 4200 miles. Never downed. Literally a brand new bike. Test rode it Thurs, buying it this weekend.

Cool deal !! Have fun on it. I was going to get a R6 because all of my dirt bikes are yamaha's. But it is just to bent over for my tast. That is the big reason I got the 250r. It sits up a lot more.

Cool. The Yamaha looks a million times better than the Zzr 600 in my opinion not to mention it's faster But now I've found one with 3k miles with 5500 im going to look at sat as well. If all goes well I'll be sitting on it the middle of next week. I went towards a 250R because I felt I wasnt ready for a 600cc sport bike. After riding it though, it didnt yank up the front wheel in every gear or feel so gaudy and top heavy. You are leaned down a bit more than on the 250R. But after riding both bikes, I think the 600cc is more in my riding level since im coming from a HD 1200N

Sean, that Raven is not going to have the ***** even at that price for the street use. How often are you going to be in the powerband in street use is what I am asking. Again, congrats on the new to be ride, but not really knowing your needs, has me thinking.

that is one of the cools things with the 250 - you can actually wind it out on the streets.
i so rarely wind out anything but first gear on my 6.
