09 Ninja 250R
So my dealer called me and I just completed paperwork on my new 09 250R. This is one of the pre-release bikes they were talking about. I got in black which is the color I wanted, so I'm pretty much super pysched. @ more good months of riding left, and I get to pick up my bike tomorrow!
was in the dealer yesterday to pick up some gear and they too got a black 09 250r,
It is exactly 100% the same as 08 models ecxept it says 09 on the owner's manual
Also $500 more from what I hear

No offense but.......... duh!
What were you expecting? A completely new bike RIGHT after they made the first major change in the bike in 20 years? Don't expect anything more then extremely small, barely noticeable refinements for at least the next 4-5 years. Then I wouldn't expect any major changes for at least 10 years. I doubt they'll leave it sit for another 20 years like they did with the F model of the third gen. Of course it would have been nice to get the G and H models that everyone else got but the US.
