Hey guys, just joined. Going to be buying an 08 250R when it hits dealerships, first sports bike for me. I was just wondering if they're making parts for the 250R yet and where's a couple good places to start looking? Thanks alot guys!

As with most new models, you'll likely have to wait a while for replacement/aftermarket parts to become available. (Aftermarket for sure.) The dealer should be able to supply all the OEM parts.

 

Thank you very much! Im guessing the companies that are making previous 250R parts will continue to do so. Was hoping to put some type of exhaust on when I got it along with taking the license plate mount off completely. Only thing I dont like on the whole bike is the big long license plate mount [:'(]

both of those exhausts are pretty ugly but i have yet to hear a sound clip or numbers on performance so im not completely judging yet, however if muzzy stays with the sound and look theyve always produced they might have a winner for the 08. Seeing what kawi did with the 08 i think youll see alot of companies step up with aftermarket parts if the sales of the 08 go as planned. It atracts alot of first timers to a smaller bike,alot of people that jump on a 600 for there first bike do it because anything small is hideous
