Default 07 Ninja EX250

Just purchased an 07 EX250 2 weeks ago I love it haven't ridden in ten years since a bad wreck. I needed a light weight bike due to my back. I found alot of after market performance for this bike. I rode it for 200 miles and loved it so much I wanted to add some performance. I bought the Muzzy exhaust, jet kit, k&n air filter, Driven USA chain and sprocket set(13f,45r), Race Tech fork springs, EX500 rear shock, fender eliminator and zero gravity double bubble windscreen. I can't wait to take it out still in the shop getting the mods. Next I might due something with the brakes and tires. The chain and sprocket set is supposed to give you a 7% increase in the power that the rear wheel receives so it will allow the EX250 to use its small horses more efficiently. Well when I get it back I'll post some pics.

I got the bigger tires on my 250 and it was SO much better. and it didn't require a mod for the front fender either!

I am assuming that with getting the Race Tech springs you were setting up the sags for your riding/weight. That is good to hear. Congrats on the 250 and all of the other goodies.

Im not sure how youll like the gearing mod, one way and you get more off the line and loose top speed or the other way you get slightlyless off the line and more top speed. The most common change is for a higher top end the loss on the low end really isnt notcible but its there.

Your fist mod really should be tires, the stock tires are not very sticky and are more sensitive to road imperfections.

Welcome to the Forums!

I'll be looking forward to new tires on my 250 also within the next few thousand miles or so. I'm thinking of buying the Sport Demons.

Congrats on the 250 and all the mods you got so far. On my 04 It came with a muzzy exhaust and I have no idea if it has a jet kit on it.

How can I tell if there is a jet kit installed on the bike?
