whats up guys im new to the kawaski mojaves used to own alot of yamahas i bought a 97 kawaski mojave 4 stroke 250 it blows out blue smoke when i hit the gas meaning most likly it's burning oil or the rings r out of it but i was just wondering were do u adust the carb cause normally u see it on side of the top this one i cant find it any one can help me

21 people read this and I'm the first to say welcome? Come on guys don't be scared, he won't bite....unless he's into that and we are not gonna judge you for that. LOL hahahaha boo yaaa annnnnnnnnd snap!

But seriously welcome to the forums. Blue smoke means oil, and that means a motor tear down, probably rings or valves. Good luck and keep us informed with pictures and reports.

Black=Rich

Thanks prom for the nice/basic description, that helps alot

Welcome to KF die tryin

Put your compression gauge on and see where you are at. Good chance your valve seals may be seeping causing the blue smoke. I am not sure, but check it out.
