Hows it going guys and gals...

My name is Kyle and I'm new here to this forum obviously... I would love to get into motorcycle riding and just came up on an offer for a ninja that I just can't pass up. I'm a die hard honda nut (when it comes to cars) and I need another form of transportation.

ahha... what do you guys think of the 1995 900cc ninja?

 

The 900 is an awfull lot of bike to start on,I would start small and next spring move up.Take the MSF course and wear your gear.too many people jump to a huge bike to be cool and end up dumping it quick and get hurt.JMO

 

Any heavy ride causes some anxiety for anyone new or experienced. Combine power to weight ratio's, it kinda builds up even more. The 9's are a good machine, but not my first choice in a first street ride.

 

I agree dragone,starting out on too much of a bike is asking for trouble.JMO

 

+1 i agree with everything stated First bike get an older modle 600 or below. Depnding on your maturity level. Oh yeah and welcome KF

 

Do what I did, get a cheap bike and dump away. Then move up after you earned your bumps and bruises... (if any). And welcome to the forums.
