i'm 5 foot 6 inches and pretty good build. What kinda bike would be best for my average height.

 

hey dude, i'm 5/7 and i ride a 05 636. i'm not totally flat footed on the bike but i'm not complaining.... you would pretty have the same result with any 600. now, if your not comfortible with that you could always lower the bike 1/2". but it will affect your turning clearance. soo i hope this helped.... ride safe...

 

You should go out to some dealers and sit on several different bikes to see which ones 'fit' you best. Good luck!

 

I'm the same height and the ex500 is a perfect fit for me.

 

I'm 5'7", run a ZX10R and just the front of my feet touch. Once your moving it dosn't matter.
My riding partner has a 05 GSXR750 and he shaved his seat about 1.5 So that is always an option that is very easy to do. And dosn't cost anything but time.

 

Hey, I am 5' 6 and am on a 2000 ZX7r. I have always felt that the this bike was made for the short people out there.. I have riden other bikes and nothing comes close in my opinion, I guess that is why this is my 3rd ZX7r.. It is just a lowdown dirty shame that the heads of state decided to make the middle class extinct.. Grab one if you can find one..
