quad lock phone mounts vs others?

I'm looking for a phone mount for my KLX 300. I'm thinking about buying the quad lock mount just because they claim you can use them offroad. Anyone have one? They are pricey is there an alternative?

Look at RAM Mounts, they're pretty good.
