Ok, decided to go with a 96' zx9r block, wiseco big bore up to 1000cc, and forged 13:1 comp pistons in a 91' zx7 frame. Wanted to go injection but would be too expensive. Will have to run 94 octane or better, but it's a bike..how bad can it be? For all intensive purposes, it'll appear as a stock (ish) zx7 down to the decals. Will use a carbon fiber ram airbox, most likely run zx6r wheels/rubber..get rid of the speedo drive/cable, plus it's a lighter nicer rim. Haven't ruled out nitrous yet..I'll take some pics of the bastard machine along the way as promised. Cheers all, Dallas

Well, apparently some in here are interested inthis thing. I EXPECT a 1991 zx7 that'll keep up with a zx14, busa, and any other superbike at a fraction their cost. The joy will be the fact that according to the appearance of the bike, it should not physically be able to accomplish such a feat without spitting parts out the pipe. It's what's called a "sleeper" in certain circles. Some may ask "Why?" The answer is "Because I can". I've owned Kawasaki's best, fastest, most expensive. What does one do when they own the perfect bike? NOTHING! They require no tinkering, few mods and little maintenance...how boring.I haven't reached that stage in my life yet, still have grease under my nails. Plus I work at a Kawi shop with all I need in new/used parts under one roof to complete my project. Cheers, D
