So, did you ever do the valve adjustment on your 14 before you sold it? If so, was it any more of a PITA than any other bike?

What? The secondary removals, on a stock or aftermarket exhaust would be nice to know. lol

If I get my hands on a phourteen next year I wanna know what I'm in for.[&:] I think I would also wait on the other go-fast goodies for later. As if the 14 isn't fast already.

I had an '86 Gxxr 750. Great sound! Installed an aftermarket braced swingarm with Marvics. That was one screamin' little bike. Welcome to the forums!

The valve adjust on the 14 is no problem, same as the 12R, tight as all hell but doable. The carb sync was tough as there are mixture screws for each cyl waydown under the throttle bodies that can't be reached using a conventional screwdriver..I had to use the 90degreeKawi special tool and a mirrior. Those wishing to get a 14 will truly have a handful. I removed the secondary flies, had a K&N with stock exhaust. Big bike for sure but nicely balanced and once dialed in to you, handles awesome. D
