Hey guys,
Been poking around here for the past week or so. Just ordered and paid for a nice shiny new '09 KLX250 and I should be able to pick it up Friday if everything goes well. Never ridden before but I've always wanted to get into it and with a few of the guys at work getting newer bikes, I figured I'd do the same. So, with that, consider me a sponge for info. I'm completely mechanically inclined but never worked on bikes before, just planes and cars so this is new to me.

Welcome, crigger. Deej will be proud of you! You're starting with a bike that is very capable, and can teach you alot. Next step, get some gear and keep yourself safe. I think you'll enjoy the Forums; good folks and good advice. I've been to some other bike forums and frankly they're nothing but egocentric trash talk.
