No spark
Having an issue with my ultra reliable zx9. I was taking it to the shop for fork seal issue when it wouldn't start. Now I have had it sitting for some month or more (started it once a week to charge the battery)... This time I had no juice...not even a display light... I put it on the battery charger and 3 hours later it started fine. After running it for 5 mins I shut it down...2hrs later it starts right up and I was riding to the shop on the freeway..it just dies Instantly..like a kill switch was thrown..Nothing I could do to get power back ...NO lights no nothing ...Absolutely DEAD..including instuments..
I doubt its my battery..Hooking up another battery to boost it didn't help one bit ..Still no power... Im stumped. ANY IDEAS??

Thanks man.
I know there is no electricity..I was going 70mph when all my gauges zeroed out.Its not cranking now and not even a dim light to be seen.No neutral light/oil light etc.ITS JUST DEAD!!!

couldn't find any bad fuses, wouldn't I get at least a flicker of light if I hooked up jumper cables?? Jumper cables made no difference..The battery was making bubbling noises when I charged it..Its one of those "Don't add water deals"...

there should be a green 30 A fuse in around the starter solenoid. thats your main. if IT'S good, i'd look at the keyswitch itself. all the bikes power runs thru it. should be a white and brown wire. i wanna say brown is out and white is in, but i might have it backwards..
also, look closely at the ground. a quick check is to testlight or meter from the + of the battery to any point on the frame. you got 12V, then your ground is ok.
