newbie here from Central Florida
Just purchased a used 2009 KLX250SF from a non-Kawi dealership. 39 miles on the odometer and the warranty is valid until late August 2011.
I currently also have a 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide (FLHX). Yes, a Harley but it's so comfy for my old a$$.
And the cruise control and iPod connection to the radio are a bonus.
Prior bikes include:
-- 2008 Buell Ulysses XT
-- 2006 Yamaha FJR1300AE
-- 2004 Big Bear Choppers Venom ProStreet (I built this bike in my garage from a kit sold by BBC).
The KLX250SF was bought a commuter bike for me. Work is about 5 miles away and I don't ride any freeways to get there. The 800 lbs Harley can be a pain in parking lots for my 160 lbs frame.

Welcome to KF and congrats on the new ride.
I am on my 3rd total bike overhaul on my 79 sporty iron jug. I realized that a peanut tank is too small! lol Run out of gas and you need to be superman to push the bike. lol
