my mom thinks it's cool that I ride. She does not ride herself because she has 3 slipped disks in her back but she has taken a ride with me a couple times I keep telling her to get a scooter so she does not have to worry abou the weight of the bike.

My husband, Ira's, mom is petrified--she seriously does not even want us to talk about it around her.

 

I actually asked my parents what they thought of me owning a bike before I got one. They thought I was asking for permission when all I was doing was mentioning it as an interest of mine. Needless to say, they felt that I valued their input. So I believe they have even more trust in me now.
